1. New application for "Perticipation as Visitor (General) (*)" is resumed from November 2015.

Please be sure that your application may be refused due to increasing of a number of players and/or club members. Note that "Visitor (to be a Club Member)" has priority.

- Our common/primary language is "Japanese". See the below [NOTE] for further detail.

- It is allowed to come with your friend(s)/colleague(s).  HOWEVER, the Total number of person shall be up to 3 (three) and the Name of all person must be informed us prior to your coming.  (Any person without preliminary notice would be refused for play)

Venue: Chiba Municipal Konakadai Elementary School's gymnasium

Establishment: 1980

Player's level: Beginner/Intermediate to Advanced level (*1)

Open: 12:00 - 15:00, every Sunday (*2)

Fee: 300JPY (Club member), 500JPY (Visitor)  (MoC: May, 2015)

Representative of the Club: Yamanobe/Mr.

(*1): It is sorry that an inexperienced player is not acceptable. A player who can make all kinds of shot, i.e. Clear, Drive, Drop, Smash, Net and so on is preferable to join us. (See [NOTE] below)

(*2): The club is sometime closed due to an event of the school or other reason.

       (Please check "Calender" prior to your participation)

(*3): [Entry Condition]

         - You need to keep participating in the club activity at least for 3 months (trial period). We will ask you if you want to be our "Club member" or to keep attending to the club as Visitor in accordance with the "[Draft] Management Terms and Conditions" after the period.

NOTE: We may refuse any types of "Visitor" once the number of "Club member" reached at the specific number. (Adoption date: 2015.09.01)

         - You can particiate in all kinds of badminton-tournament holding by Chiba Badminton Association as a "Club member" regardless where you live in once you became the member.

            --> Note that "out of Chiba-city resident" has some constraint.

         - You can purhase our "Club Shirt".

         - Duplicate registration (*) to other clubs settled down inside Chiba-city other than "Lady's club" is not acceptable. However, it is allowed to play at such other clubs, to register a club settled down outside Chiba-city, and to participate in a badminton tournament holding by other city/organization.

             --> Our Rules regarding the reduction of the Fee and the allowance of Duplicate registration may be implemented without any preliminary notice.

　　　　(*) What is Duplicate registration?

                  A status that your "Name" is listed on the rosters (name lists) of plural Clubs.

                  --> A "Chiba-city Resident" and "Person working in Chiba-city" can be additionally registered on the day of each tournament. Therefore, it must be careful if you had attended to a tournament as "alternative player" so far.

                        NOTE: It does not apply to a person who has just played badminton at plural Clubs.

         - Attendance to periodical cleaning of the gymnasium, (about 3 times/year)

         - Participation in periodical "linning" of the courts, etc. (about 1 time/year)

[NOTE]

- Our common/primary language is "Japanese".  (Broken Japanese is acceptable)

   Only few members can communicate in English.  (Other language is not available)

- Please do not come to the gymnasium directly prior to "Contacting us" unless otherwise you had any inconvenience with the feature in this website, for the first participation.  No one can generally deal with it.  (You can join us freely after the first participation)

- Please prepare a badminton-racket (battledore), badminton-shoes (shoes for

  gymnasium), and badminton-wear (sportswear).  Neither rental nor lending of any badminton tools is available.

- Elementary school students and Junior high school students are not allowed to join us.

  (High school students or higher grade is acceptable)

- We do not take out any accident-insurance. Please be careful when you play.

- We have car parking spaces, but the number of vehicles that can be parked is limited.

- Please park your bicycle or (small) scooter in front of the gymnasium or next to the building

  inside the school. (for a motorcycle/big scooter, please park it at the car parking space above)

- Our club is not responsible for any trouble, such as car break-in, happened in the school

  includeing the car parking space.

[Activity Flow]

1) 12:00 - 12:15 --- Set up badminton courts.

2) Write down your name to the "attendance book" in series.

     NOTE: The assigned number will be used for making a match of Doubles-game.

3) Pay the fee to the specific box.

4) Warm up with an ambient player. (There is no specific rule)

5) 12:45 - 14:55 --- Doubles-game (Generally, 21 points/game. It is variable per the number of participants)

6) Players may be divided into 2 levels (groups) around 13:30, if there is a gap between the level of players.

7) 14:55 - 15:00 --- Clean up the gymnasium.
